Mcleod Ganj is a beautiful town situated near upper Dharamsala. Nestled amidst majestic hills and lush greenery, this town is culturally blessed by a prominent Tibetan influence owing to the major settlement of Tibetans here. Mcleodganj has one of the most mesmerising landscapes in the entire state of Himachal Pradesh and attracts a lot of tourists throughout the year.
Itinerary :
Delhi/ Dharamshala (Overnight Volvo)
Assemble at Volvo stand and board Volvo for your overnight journey in Volvo to Dharamshala.
Day 01: Arrive Dharamshala
On your arrival at Dharamshala bus station we will meet & transfer you to hotel in Dharamshala. Dharamshala is a hill station lying on the spur of the Dhauladhar range. Visit Bhagsunag temple, Bhagsunag Waterfall and Dalai Lama temple. Evening free to explore Mc Leodganj market. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Dharamshala / Bir
After breakfast a day excursion to Bir, enroute visiting Baijnath.
Bir & Biling are also known as Paragliding capital of India. Here you can see majestic Dhauladhar mountain range with snow caped mountains. If weather permits you may enjoy on own a short paragliding ride. Later drive back to Dharamshala for overnight stay.
Day 03: In Dharamshala – Naddi – Hike to Gallu
The hike starts from Mcleodganj and goes through mixed forest of oak, rhododendron and deodar to Gallu. It takes around 1 walking hours both ways. Visit dal lake & Naddi sunset point. Back in Mc Leodganj by evening. Rest & relax in your hotel.
Day 04: Depart Dharamshala
Morning free to explore Mc Leodganj at your own pace. Late afternoon drop at Dharamshala volvo station to board overnight Volvo back to Delhi.
