Chamba is the northernmost district of Himachal Pradesh, and lies at the intersection of Dhauladhar and Zanskar ranges. The landscape here is marked by lakes, streams, meadows, alpine tree covers, valleys and rich wildlife. The rich artistic heritage of the city is reflected in its miniature paintings, temple architecture and the famous “Chamba Rumal”.
Dalhousie, a famous tourist destination in Himachal Pradesh, with its waterfalls, rivers making their way through mountains, dense forest trails that run parallel to enormous cliffs with grand views of Dauladhar range in the distance and a couple of churches that were built during the British Raj.
Itinerary :
DAY 01 : Pathankot / Delhi / Chandigarh – Dalhousie
After Receiving from Chakki bank railway station (Pathankot), travel by car or taxi to to Dalhousie and night stay at the hotel, after evening sight view.
Day 02 : Dalhousie
After breakfast starting the day with a tour of local sites of Dalhousie like Sapt Dhara, Panjpulla, Gandhi Chowk, Subhash Chowk and ending the day with a return to hotel.
Day 03 : Dalhousie – Khajjiar
After breakfast travel to Khajjiar and Kalatop with the night stay at hotel.
Day 04 : Chamba
After breakfast at Khajjiar travel to Chamba. After tour of Local sights, night stay at Chamba.
Day 05 – Departure
After breakfast tour to dam site and drop back at Chakki Bank railway station..
